Lesa-Belle Furhagen is one of the founders of terraplanet and is its Managing Director.  She has over fifteen years experience in the Australian media industry.  Terraplanet publishes seven titles in the youth and lifestyle areas, including juice, Recovery, HQ and the recently acquired Australian Style.  Terraplanet also launched their first youth portal - juice.net in November 1999.  Juice.net consistently rates in the top 10 music and movie sites (source: Hitwise).

Prior to forming terraplanet, Lesa-Belle co-founded Front Publishers which secured the license to publish Rolling Stone in Australia.  As Associate Publisher, she was instrumental in its significant growth.  She also oversaw the acquisition and re-launch of other titles.

In addition, Lesa-Belle held senior positions in the Australian theatre and film industries including the Australian National Playwrights Conference and Belvoir Street Theatre.  In 1984 she became publicity project officer in the marketing division for Film Australia and was instrumental in the revitalisation of the national film unit.
