"Tarquin has been Product Marketing Manager, Pacific Region at Siemens since
July 2000. This role includes overall Product Marketing and Product
Management, product launch plans, market intelligence and strategies, and
Sales and Marketing support for all Mobile device products including GSM &
GPRS Mobile Phones, PDA's and upcoming 3G terminals.
Prior to working at Siemens Tarquin was co-founder, co-owner and Research &
Development Manager of Oztrak Pty Ltd, Australia's leading supplier of
Telematic and Telemetry data applications for GSM. In his last year with
Oztrak, he was Managing Director Oztrak Europe based in Munich, Germany.
Oztrak developed combined GPS and GSM systems for car navigation, traffic
information, emergency services, breakdown services, and GSM telemetry
applications such as Remote Meter Reading. Tarquin left Oztrak when the
business was sold and floated on the stock market in early 2000."
