Charly Prevost joined Liquid Audio in November 1998 as Vice President of Retail Marketing and Promotion. In this role he is responsible for building a network of affiliate partners and aggregating content for Liquid Audio's distribution network.
Previous to Liquid Audio, Mr. Prevost was Vice President of Retail for The
Album Network from 1996 to 1998. He was responsible
for the retail section of the music industry's
leading trade weekly, budget, editorial duties
for over four weekly publications, and overseeing
the marketing and retail sections of the www.musicbiz.com
Internet site. Prior to The Album Network, Mr.
Prevost operated The Charly Prevost Company,
where he pioneered multimedia production, and
designed enhanced CD's for Elektra Records and
Curb Records, and designed Curb Record's Internet
site. In addition, Mr. Prevost has held positions
as Multimedia Contributing Editor for the Ice
Newsletter, President for Momentum Music Limited
(Beggars Banquet's publishing company) in London,
General Manager for Chrysalis Records, President
for Island Records, President and CEO for Self
Portrait Productions, and Publicity Director
for A&M Records. Mr. Prevost also served as
artist management for 20 years for acts including
Supertramp and The Fixx, and worked with music
greats including Rupert Hine and Dread Zeppelin.
