Sarah McLeod came to national prominence as the enigmatic and charismatic singer of The Superjesus. Hailing from Adelaide the four piece rock band broke out big time in 1996 with their debut Ep "Eight Step Rail" and double platinum album "Sumo".
After the 1999 Big Day Out the band all but broke up after the fiery departure of co-founder and song writing collaborator Chris Tennent.
During 1999 Sarah went about picking up the pieces of her career and, showing a drive and tenacity not common among rock bands, moved the group to Melbourne, found a new guitarist, wrote 30 songs and went on to record the current album "Jet Age" with producer Ed Buller. Spawning the hits, Gravity, Secret Agent Man, and now Enough To Know, "Jet Age" has established The Superjesus as a long term entity on the Aus music scene and Sarah as a savvy and talented professional - much more than her public persona as the cherub faced "rock chick" . A consummate professional, Sarah takes the business of enjoying her musical career seriously.
