I am a third generation Music Publisher. My grandfather was a songplugger for D. Davis & Co & Chappellšs Music & my father was the MD of EMI Music Publishing (then Castle Music).
After completing the HSC I joined Castle Music in the sheet music warehouse picking sheet music out of shelves. I worked my way up to become the NSW state rep for Castle.
I joined the Creative department working in the demo studio which I did for a year.
The job of Creative manager of ATV Northern songs came along so I moved to this company. When ATV was sold to Michael Jackson I needed to find a new gig.
I was then offered the job of General Manager for peermusic in 1985. I became Managing Director in 1990 & have been here with peermusic since then.
In my time here I have worked with many local acts but my favourites are the Church & ARIA winner Kavisha Mazzella. I have had many songs cut by major acts including John Farnham, Wendy Matthews, Jimmy Barnes, Gina Jeffries, Slim Dusty right up to looking after the current Scandal 'us single.
