I joined CBS records at the end of 1976 & worked my way through the ranks to be National Sales Director
I joined PolyGram Nov 1986 as Director of Marketing
& held the position for 3 years working with
Michael Smellie on rooArt & the ABC.
I was made M.D. of Polydor & held that position for 7 years.
I was made Group M.D. of PolyGram at the end of 1996 & succeed to write record profits both in 1997 & 1998.
I've been at FMR for 2.5 years, initially as CEO of Mushroom for a year, then
as CEO of the combined company up until the
beginning of this year. I now hold a Directorship
as adviser in a part time position, working
3 days a week. My objective is to assist in
a smooth transition / management change.
