Frank Arrigo - Microsoft Asia Pacific Business Development Manager

Frank Arrigo a Business Development Manager, responsible for driving the adoption and market share by Internet content providers and corporate users for Microsoft' Windows Media Technologies, in the Australian, New Zealand and Singapore markets.

Before this role, Frank was the Chief Technical Officer for ninemsn. He was responsible for developing ninemsn's medium to long term technology vision and strategy. He had been with the joint venture since its inception, initially heading up the Development & Operations group.

Prior to ninemsn, Frank was part of MSN Australia. He was responsible for all of the technical and operation issues related to running MSN in Australia. His team of webmasters and program managers provided all the services required to the local MSN production team.

Frank spent a number of years at Microsoft's corporate campus in Redmond, WA, as a Product Manager, where he was responsible for a number of technology trials in the area of Interactive Broadband Networks, more commonly known as Interactive TV. Frank worked closely with a number of network providers and content partners to get these trials off the ground.

Prior to that, Frank was a member of the Technical Strategy Group at the Microsoft Executive Briefing Centre in Redmond. He was responsible for communicating and driving Microsoft's strategic directions with major corporate accounts and Solution Providers attending the Center.

Frank started at Microsoft working as a Systems Engineer in Microsoft Australia's Federal Government region. He was an integral part of the group for almost three years, covering a wide range of accounts and product areas.

Before joining Microsoft, Frank spent seven years at Aspect Computing in Melbourne. He had a number of different roles, ranging from Analyst/Programmer roles to Lead Product Designer for a number of development projects, including a number of projects for the IBM Australian Programming Centre.

When Frank's not at work, he likes to spend time with his wife, Moira, and his children Antony, Billy and Emma, who are determined to occupy all his free time.
