The 9th AustralAsian Music Business Conference August 20-22 at Acer Arena in Sydney went off in gorgeous spring weather without a hitch or a single complaint from the audience of 360 who attended what will be the last AMBC after 18 years of the biennial event. Conference Producer Phil Tripp plans to retire before the next event could be staged in August 2011 and also feels that the gap that he filled with AMBC in 1991 has been compensated by other events that are state sponsored.
